Be Part of Lexington’s Next Cultural Landmark

Concept design by Joseph and Joseph Architects. Visualization by MaxWave 3D.

PHASE 1

The First Step Toward a Generational Vision

Every transformational project begins with a decisive first step. Phase I of Elevate LEX secures the land, advances architectural design, and prepares the project to unlock significant public and private investment.

With the site at Midland and Short now under contract, this foundational stage ensures that Elevate LEX can move from vision to reality. Early leadership commitments support design development, engineering, site preparation, and the critical groundwork required for construction and financing.

These initial investments do more than fund planning—they establish the permanent foundation of a civic landmark that will serve Lexington for generations. The leaders who step forward in this phase will help shape the future of creativity, education, and opportunity in our city.

These funds cover:

  • Architectural, engineering & design development

  • Civil, mechanical, and structural planning

  • Environmental & geotechnical testing

  • Site preparation

  • Legal, zoning & compliance

  • NMTC structuring

  • Requirements for state matching and tourism incentives

Phase I dollars are multiplier dollars. They unlock state support, federal financing, and major philanthropic investment.
